Nature Looms w/Logos

The Well is thrilled to kick off a new monthly series of pop-up dance parties featuring live producers by welcoming Nature Looms and Logos.

Nature Looms is Nigel Gilmer, a multi-instrumentalist and producer from the Appalachian Mountains of NC/TN. Nature Looms uses an intricate layering of stringed and percussive instruments, analog synthesizers and distinctive analog processing to create large sweeping cinematic soundscapes which transcends much typical electronic dance music.

Nature Looms journeys through fierce, driving rhythms and distorted synths to lush, climatic crescendos often within the same song. Nature Looms has performed as a member of various acts at venues and festivals across the country (Moogfest, Rootwire, Camp Bisco).

Logos is the musical identity of composer and producer Jim
Genaro. His music uses the sounds and textures of electronic dance music to tell stories, taking the listener on a musical voyage.

Based in Asheville, N.C., Logos has released five studio albums since he began writing music under the name in 2002. Though initially focused on ambient experiments with human voice and electronic elements, he later went on to develop a more danceable style, drawing influences from EDM, as well as industrial, progressive rock, world music, and even classical roots.
