Demystifying Death is dedicated to exploring and understanding the profound journey of grief, loss, and the most inevitable aspect of life – death. In January's gathering, we will explore the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross model of "The 5 Stages of Grief" and providing a supportive space for individuals to share their own experiences navigating these emotional stages. By opening up about our stories, we foster an atmosphere of empathy, understanding, and connection. Sharing in a safe and non-judgmental environment can be a transformative experience.
Our goal is to create a community where individuals can find solace, share their journeys, and connect with others who may be on similar paths. Healing is a process that is often made easier when done in the company of those who can understand and empathize. Stick around after the discussion; we encourage you to mingle and make new connections. Friendships formed in these shared spaces can be a source of strength and support on the journey of healing.
This is an inclusive space where individuals from every nation, race/ethnicity, religious/spiritual belief, gender, sexual identity, disability, and culture are respected and honored for their unique perspective.
This event will be hosted @ The Well in West Asheville on Tuesday, January 23rd from 6 - 8pm. We will be accepting donations at the event to help pay for the space. Suggested donation is $10.
